Who is Zerubbabel?
Zerubbabel was a key biblical figure chosen by Yahweh to lead the first Jews back from Babylonian exile in 536 BCE. He was a royal descendant of King David and instrumental in rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem. He is given a glimpse of the end of days and it was revealed that Yahweh will "shake the heavens and the earth. I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations."
The prophet Haggai tells Zerubbabel,
"On that day,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘I will take you, Zerubbabel, son of Shealtiel,
My servant,’ declares the LORD, ‘and I will make you like a signet ring, for I have chosen you,"
Today we are seeing a powerful shaking of the Nations. If Zerubbabel were alive today, what would he be reporting?
